Easy wedding centerpiece ideas you can do yourself!



Ease the expense of your reception by considering wedding centerpiece ideas you can do yourself?

By making a visit to your local craft stores or places the sell decoration items inexpensively, you can put together a great looking wedding centerpiece for little money!

Below you will find some wedding centerpiece ideas I have come up with using some photos as inspiration.

The directions include my little twists on the concepts conveyed in the photos.

Using the photo as inspiration for the elements, for each centerpiece you will need:

• 1 Small round clear glass bowl
• 1 Clear votive candle holder
• 1 Votive candle
• Pearls (or other colored beads), river rock or beach sand
• Silk flower petals
• Various sea shells

1. Place your votive candle holder into the center of the small round glass bowl.
2. Place the pearls, river rock or sand inside the small round glass bowl around the votive holder to keep it in place; then place a votive candle of your choice inside.
3. Spread some silk flower petals around the general area of the candle holder and then place the shells scattered about.
4. You can also use some of the pearls or river rocks mixed in with the silk flower petals and shells.

Hint: If you live by a beach head on down there and grab some beach sand and shells!

Using the photo as inspiration for the elements, for each centerpiece you will need:

• 1 Large glass candle holder
• 4 clear glass votive candle holders
• 1 Square plated mirror to place items on
• 4 or 6 inch white candles
• 4 white votive candles
• White silk flower petals
• White shiny ribbon

1. Place your mirror down with reflective side up.
2. Place the large glass candle holder in the center of the mirror and place the large candle inside of it.
3. Tie some white ribbon around the large glass candle holder.
4. Place the 4 votive candle holders with the votive candles in them on each of the 4 corners of the mirror.
5. Sprinkle the white silk flower petals around the elements with a few falling off the mirror.

Using the photo as inspiration for the elements, for each centerpiece you will need:

• 2 different styled and sized small narrow vases
• 1 votive candle holders
• Daisies or other garden flowers
• 1 votive candle
• Crafters moss

1. Place some crafters moss in a nest like fashion in the center of the table, wide enough to fit your two vases on.
2. Fill your two vases with water and place a few flowers in each and place in the center of the table on top of the moss.
3. Place your votive candle holder with the candle in it next to the vases creating a triangle shape.

Using the photo as inspiration for the elements, for each centerpiece you will need:

• A square clear glass container
• Single flower to float
• Water
• Colored glass beads (optional)
• 2 votive candle holders
• 2 white votive candles
• Silk flower petals or other loose flowers that were used in your bouquet

1. Place your clear glass container in the center of the table. If you are going to use glass beads place them in the bottom.
2. Pour enough water in the container that it will keep for the time and float the flower.
3. Place your single flower you chose to float on top of the water.
4. Place each votive candle holder with the candle in on each side of the glass container.
5. Sprinkle your silk flower petals or loose flowers around the general area.
