Find YOUR oceanside wedding spot on one of these Cape Elizabeth Maine beaches!

Cape Elizabeth Maine beaches are much more dramatic than those found in Southern Maine and they are not as convenient to get to...but they offer some of the most dramatic scenery!

Most Cape Elizabeth Maine beaches are not really beaches, but rather locations with cliffs and rocky coastline. However, there is Crescent Beach State Park that does offer the long expansive soft sandy beach area that you may be thinking of.

Here you will read about the beaches located in the town Cape Elizabeth.

These beaches are not close to one another and the routes vary, so I will provide you directions to each of them.

Crescent Beach State Park, beach weddings, Maine First on the list is Crescent Beach State Park.(Crescent Beach State Park photo courtesy of Rachel Ford James)

There is a large parking lot and bathroom facilities available. There is a state park fee for entrance.

Directions: Take the Maine Turnpike to exit 42 (Scarborough) and go straight through the intersection. Travel straight to the other end at Route 1. Take a left onto Route 1 and travel approximately 2 miles and take a right onto Route 207. Go about 4 miles and take a left onto Route 77. Go about 4.5 miles and Crescent Beach State Park is on the right.

Fort williams, Maine weddings, outdoor weddings, beach weddings Next on the list is Fort Williams Park.(Fort Williams Beach photo courtesy of Amy "dcalt")

There is a large area of free parking and there is no charge to get in. They do charge $100 fee for weddings. There are portable bathroom facilities on the premises . There is one small beach area that is covered with a bit of sand and mostly small stones. But the views here are absolutely breath-taking with lots of areas for beautiful photographs.

Directions: Take the Maine Turnpike North and exist at exit 44 (I 295 North). Travel about 2.8 miles and take exit 4. Go about 1.3 miles and turn right onto Route 1A. Not even 8 tenths of a mile and take a left and then a slight right onto Route 77. Go approximately 1.2 miles and stay straight onto Broadway. Two tenths of a mile you will take a right onto Cottage road. Cottage road becomes Shore road. Fort Williams is on the left about a mile down the road.

Two lights Cape Elizabeth, Maine outdoor wedding, wedding ideas, outdoor weddings Lastly is Two Lights State Park.(Two Lights wedding photo courtesy of Katie Baker, Kate Baker Photography)

There is a large parking lot and bathroom facilities. There is a state park fee for entrance. There is no sandy beach, just cliffs.

Directions: Same directions as getting to Crescent Beach State Park. Just stay on Route 77 instead of turning into the park. About 2 more miles down the road past the park you will take a slight right onto Wheeler Rd and then take a right onto Two Lights Road. About a mile down the road is the park entrance.

If you are interested in an Oceanside ceremony, but would like to work with a venue, Inn by the sea is right on Crescent Beach. They cater to weddings. Other than that, there are no other hotels or Inns in this vicinity.

Good luck in choosing from these Cape Elizabeth Maine Beaches!
